For base plate designs, a minimum height of 3m is recommended. For clear floor hoists, allow at least 4.2m of vertical space.
Most hoists should be installed indoors. Outdoor installations often void warranties unless installed by certified professionals in protected environments.
At least 6 inches (150mm) thick with 32MPA concrete strength is recommended for stable and secure installation.
You should allow 600mm of clearance on each side and sufficient overhead space for proper lift operation.
Install in a level, low-traffic area with structural integrity and open access for vehicles and technicians.
Loosen column anchors, adjust with shims to level pads, and ensure both columns are parallel for proper lift operation.
Anchor size depends on your hoist model and weight capacity. Always follow manufacturer installation guides for proper specs.
